Staying Natural In Music Studios
Monday, November 7th, 2011Do you have a music studio that you want to make sure helps musicians draw inspiration
rather than frustration? If so, there are a few decorating tips that you might want to follow
to help you ensure that when a musician steps foot inside your studio to start producing,
they have the creative juices flowing with almost zero distractions coming from the outside.
Tip #1 – Use Lighter, Natural Colors – When you choose the paint the walls, lay out the
flooring, and decide on the furniture, you are going to want to go with some lighter, more
natural colors. Lighter colors will help keep your artist’s mind free and flowing, giving them
the inspiration they need to produce excellent music for you.
Tip #2 – Give Your Musician Some Privacy – When it comes to artist’s, there is nothing that
they love more than to have their privacy when they want it. This is crucial if the musician
is in a rare mood, and would rather record behind “closed doors” rather than in front of the
teams helping them produce the music. You can give them some privacy by installing some
thick slat bamboo blinds over the windows leading into the recording room, instead of
leaving the standard glass windows open.
