There’s nothing that distracts me from my music more than mosquitoes buzzing around my room.  I use music to relax, so when I’m sitting in my easy chair with a record playing the last thing I need is a swarm of biting critters flitting around my head. 

A couple of weeks ago I decided to do something about it.  I like to keep the windows open at my house, so unfortunately I couldn’t really solve my mosquito problem by simply closing them (well, I could but I don’t want to), so I invested in this mosquito killer machine to catch the little buggers before they could catch me. 

I have to say I’m impressed.  This little bad boy is as simple as they come.  A UV light attracts mosquitoes towards the trap, and sticky fly paper surrounding the light catches and kills them.  After just a couple of days I’d caught so many mosquitoes I had to replace the fly paper.  

p.s. While I was shopping for the mosquito killer machine I stumbled upon this collection of disgusting brown recluse spider bite pictures.  I hate mosquitoes, but after a quick look at that I thanked me lucky stars that all I have to worry about is a little itching.
